Kim Gould

Kim Gould hails from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and is an all-round crafty person. Her current medium of choice is crochet, but she also dabbles in cross stitch, beading, sketching, painting, and sculpting. She enjoys creating things rooted in pop culture and fandom – and podcasts have been her latest source of inspiration! Kim loves the flexibility that the audio-only medium provides from a design standpoint, allowing her to branch out with different concepts, and build off ideas from others in the fan community. She has also been excited to find an active network of fibre artists within her fellow podcast-listeners, all crafting along to their favorite shows.

Kim’s fan works range from crochet miniatures that stand only a few inches tall up to a blanket measuring almost 6 feet in diameter! She has donated podcast-inspired crochet items to the Desert Bus for Hope Craft-Along for the past two years, raising over $900 USD in silent auction donations to Child’s Play. Kim is also working with fellow PodCon2 attendees to create crochet and knit squares that will be assembled into blankets and scarves for donation to YouthCare Seattle.
